Patinated plaster bust in terracotta imitation, depicting an expressive female portrait. The generous hairstyle, facial features, and presence of the sculpture evoke the great figures of Montmartre during the Belle Époque, notably recalling the iconography of La Goulue popularized by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. The work emphasizes the material and relief, with a deliberately animated surface that in places reveals the plaster beneath the reddish-brown patina. Wear, chips and small losses contribute fully to its character. The sculpture rests on a turned wooden plinth that elegantly underscores its proportions. No signature visible. Total height with base: 23 cm. With its evocative character and its beautiful decorative presence, this sculpture will naturally find its place in an eclectic interior, a library, a cabinet of curiosities, or a décor inspired by the artistic universe of the Belle Époque.
