An impressive bronze rendering of The Thinker, one of the most recognizable sculptural compositions in art history. The seated figure is depicted in his characteristic, deeply contemplative pose. The dark, nuanced patina and the expressive modeling of the surface give the sculpture a powerful and authentic appearance. Together with the sleek black plinth, it creates a beautiful contrast between classical figuration and a modern presentation. What is special about this specimen is that the sculpture bears a signature and a separate relief marking/plaque on the rear. These details are clearly visible in the close-up photos and make the object even more interesting for collectors. The sculpture has a strong presence and comes into its own in a classic interior, modern home, office, library or art collection. Features: * Subject: The Thinker * Material: bronze * Dark green/black nuanced patina * Signed * Featuring a relief marking/plaque * Placed on an elegant black plinth * Beautifully detailed and expressive execution * Decorative and collectible object Carefully review the extensive photo set; the photos are an important part of the description and show, among other things, the signature, marking, patina and finish. The object is very carefully packed and insured for shipment with track & trace. Pick-up is also possible.
