Sculpture, Gondola degli Innamorati - 12 cm - Murano glass - 2026

Made entirely by hand in Murano, this small glass sculpture tells the most romantic symbol of Venice: a gondola ride for two. The gondola, hot-worked in glossy black glass, has the long, slender line of the Venetian boat, which lifts slightly at the ends. At the prow stands the “fero,” the characteristic decorative iron, rendered with fine parallel reliefs; at the stern the line ends in an elegant curl. Aboard, two hearts in transparent red glass lean against each other, like two lovers close together: when backlit, the red glows and fades into amber tones toward the tips. The gondola rests on a cube-shaped crystal glass base with a bubbled effect, pierced by small air bubbles that catch the light and recall the water of the lagoon. The contrast between the deep black, the red of the hearts, and the transparency of the base makes the sculpture elegant and full of poetry. A romantic gift for an anniversary, for Valentine’s Day, or to remember a trip to Venice. Perfect on a shelf, a desk, or a nightstand. Each sculpture is unique: the shape of the hearts, the curve of the gondola, and the bubbles in the base vary from piece to piece. Any small imperfections are the natural mark of handcraft. Details Technique: hand-shaped hot glass; base in crystal glass with bubbled effect. Dimensions: about 12 × 2 × 6 cm (length × depth × height). Colors: black, transparent red, crystal. Condition: new, never used. The sculpture is accompanied by an authenticity certificate, attesting to the artisanal Murano glass craftsmanship. Fast shipping, with careful and secure packaging.
