Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Sculpture, Set di 2 Fragole decorative - 6 cm - Murano glass
Entirely handmade in Murano with lampworking, these two strawberries in solid glass are a small classic of Italian design: simple in form, precious in craftsmanship. Each strawberry is hot-modelled in transparent rubino red solid glass, in the typical heart shape that narrows toward the tip. The entire surface is marked by tiny pits, reproducing the seeds of the real fruit and, when hit by light, they glow with reflections like many small lenses. At the top, the cup of leaves is hot-applied in green glass: the tips extend over the fruit and, where the green overlaps the red, they take on darker, deeper shades. In the center, a small curved stem protrudes. The two strawberries are different sizes, one large and one smaller, forming a harmonious pair. They are perfect on a shelf, on a table, or in a glass bowl, and thanks to the solid glass they can also be used as paperweights. An original gift for those who love design, artistic glass, or simply strawberries. Each strawberry is unique: the arrangement of the pits, the shape of the leaves, and the tiny bubbles enclosed in the glass vary from piece to piece. They are a sign of artisanal workmanship, not defects. Details Technique: solid glass hand-shaped and hot-moulded, with applied leaves. Number of pieces: 2 strawberries. Dimensions of the large strawberry: about 6 × 4 × 4 cm. Dimensions of the small strawberry: about 4.5 × 3 × 3 cm. Colors: transparent rubino red, green leaves and stem. Condition: new, never used. The set comes with a certificate of originality, attesting to the artisanal Murano glass craftsmanship. Fast shipping, with careful and secure packaging.
