A beautiful arrowhead-shaped pendantof a Scythian bronze arrowhead.Excellent condition. This arrowhead stands as a testament to the martial prowess and skill of the legendary Scythians—nomadic tribes that inhabited the Eurasian steppes during the Early Iron Age. Such three-sided bronze arrowheads were the primary weapon of Scythian horse archers, who struck terror into the armies of the ancient world. Each such artifact is not merely a weapon, but a key to understanding the military tactics and culture of this enigmatic civilization. The three-lobed, socketed design is a classic example of Scythian weaponry, designed for maximum impact. The tip is made of ancient bronze and has retained its original form. Its surface bears a noble, natural patina characteristic of objects of such age. To make this ancient artifact suitable for wear as a pendant, it has been professionally and carefully set into a modern jewelry cap. The combination of raw, patinated bronze and a smooth, shiny silver-toned finish creates a stylish contrast, highlighting the value and antiquity of the point. The amulet comes with a faux leather jewelry cord. Condition: Excellent solid condition, beautiful smooth patina.Look at many photos for your own impression. Size arrowhead : 39 x 9.5 mm. Weight: 3.30 grams The item was purchased in 2015 in Barcelona, Spain from G.A. as part of a private Spanish collection dating back to the 1980s.
