An original Seeburg ES100 Phono-Jet from 1967. A less common Seeburg from the late sixties, designed as a compact jukebox with room for 50 7-inch singles and 100 individual selections. What makes the Phono-Jet special is mainly its design. The machine does not have the classic fifties look with which Seeburg is often associated, but a distinctly sixties design. Across the front run colored graphic silhouettes of musicians and dancers. Above the record compartment there are three individually framed illustrations of a pianist, bassist and drummer. These images belong to the original design of this model and give the jukebox almost the character of a piece of pop art from the sixties. Other preserved examples of the Phono-Jet show the same characteristic decoration. The jukebox is operational. The selection mechanism functions and the records are played. The original external Seeburg controls for volume and reject are also present. The ES100 works with the well-known Seeburg Tormat selection system. This unit is a European version for 235 V / 50 Hz. According to the original Seeburg specifications the Phono-Jet has 100 selections, a 100TM7 Tormat, a 145ST12 mechanism and two 12-inch speakers. The cabinet is in original used condition. The wood veneer, aluminum/chromework and the graphic panels are still present. There are clear signs of use and localized damage to the cabinet; these are intentionally shown in the photos and belong to the current, unrestored state. Brand: Seeburg Model: ES100 / S100 Phono-Jet Introduction: September 1967 Capacity: 50 singles / 100 selections Mechanism: Seeburg 145ST12 Selections system: 100TM7 Tormat Speakers: 2 × 12 inch Power supply unit: 235 V / 50 Hz Serial number: 068117 Condition: working, original used state Because of size and weight, pickup is the recommended option. Viewing and demonstration are possible. What you see is what you buy. One thing I would not put in your advertisement: online it is claimed that only 400 were produced. I can’t find a sufficiently strong primary source for that; it sounds appealing, but I would not present that rarity claim as a fact. Will be shipped with non-stackable pallet shipment.
