Set of rare vintage Kokeshi dolls - Sato Suigai - Wood...

A pair of rare and rather old Kokeshi dolls from Japan. Both dolls are handpainted and have calligraphy poems and beautiful decorations. They are truly elegant and make a nice couple together. The larger doll is signed by Suigai Sato. Both Kokeshi are in very good shape with only slight traces of ageing. These dolls are estimated to be around 50 years old. A very decorative set to add to any interior! Please take a look at the pictures to see the details. Shipping insured from NL, fast and no import duties for EU members.
