SET OF TWO "OFFICE CANE CHAIRS" by Pierre JEANNERET (1896–1967) Made of teak, with a sloping, slightly curved backrest. Detached, contoured armrests on a compass-style side base. Straight backrest attached to the seat, with a wide, tapered side post. Seat and backrest with restored cane weaving; slight variations from one chair to the other. Circa 1954. H: 75 x W: 51 x D: 45 cm approx.
