Sheaffer - Lady - Fountain pen

A0000006301 Article: FOUNTAIN PEN AND BALLPOINT SHEAFFER Lady 630, body and cap in metal plated in gold with a brushed finish, Florentine central band chiselled and short clip with White Dot Reference / Edition: Lady Sheaffer 630 Length: 13.2 cm Diameter: 1.1 cm Nib: F (14K gold nib, engraved "SHEAFFER 14K") Pen: 12.9 x 0.9 cm Pieces: 2 Period: 1970s (final decade of the Lady Sheaffer line, 1971–1980) Materials: Gold-plated metal with brushed finish on body and cap, gold-toned central band with raised Florentine decoration, short polished clip with embedded White Dot, black resin section and 14-karat gold nib on the fountain pen; matching ballpoint with the same decorated band and retractable metal tip (twist mechanism). Filling system: cartridge/converter in the pen. Condition: Good overall condition for its age, with evident wear. The gold plating shows loss of shine, micro-scratches and scuffs across the body and cap of both pieces, more marked at the end of the pen body, where a small wear/knock is visible on the edge. The Florentine band preserves the relief well; the clip and the White Dot are complete. Straight gold nib, aligned and with no visible damage. Ballpoint with metal tip in good condition. Functioning writing has not been tested in the photos. Accessories: Original Sheaffer box "the proud craftsmen" in red with red velvet interior and piece-holding ribbon; no papers, certificate, or warranty card visible in the photos (not a full set).
