Search And Destroy (Artist Proof) Présentation de l'Œuvre Artist: Shepard Fairey (OBEY) Série: Coffret "50 Shades of Black" (Édition Spéciale 25ème Anniversaire) Year of publication: 2014 Support: Screenprint on cream paper (Speckletone) Technique: Hand-pulled screenprint Dimensions: 12 x 12 inches (approx. 30.5 x 30.5 cm) — "Vinyl Sleeve" format The offered version is an AP Artist Proof This work comes from the iconic series produced to celebrate a quarter-century of graphic dissent. The "50 Shades of Black" style is defined by a minimalist yet powerful palette: black, metallic gold, and cream. The aesthetics borrow from Soviet propaganda codes, vintage advertising, and the punk movement. Unlike large-format posters, this 12x12 format pays homage to the major influence of music and DJ culture in Fairey’s work. Rarity of the Edition: These screenprints come from a box set limited to only 450 copies worldwide. Signature: Each work is hand-signed and dated by Shepard Fairey in pencil (usually bottom right). Conservation quality: Use of high-quality pigment inks and archival paper, ensuring exceptional longevity with no yellowing. Display versatility: Its square "Cover Art" format lends a modern presentation, ideal for wall grids or minimalist framing.
