Alle Auktionen / Möbel, Design und Spiegel / Side table - Iron, Mozaique - The Netherlands
Brilliantly blending the modernist lines of mid-century with artisanal craftsmanship, this mosaic side table is a true piece with character. Its rectangular top, made of hand-placed tiles, unfolds an eclectic arrangement of vibrant blues, greens, reds, blacks, grays, and beiges, forming a striking pixelated pattern that captures the eye. Supported by a minimalist black metal pedestal, its ends finished with delicate brass-gold tips, it elegantly plays on contrasts – matte/shiny, dark/golden – enhancing its precious vintage aura. These finishes add a refined touch and sublimely complement the table’s clean geometric structure. Its compact dimensions (H27 x L46 x D34 cm, 4 kg) make it an ideal accessory for a sofa, an armchair, or even as a standalone decorative table. This dynamic composition embodies the spirit of the 1950s while boldly integrating into contemporary interiors. A functional work of art that infuses personality and color into every space. Condition: The mosaic tabletop is in very good condition. The pedestal is complete and stable. However, please note a few signs of wear (scuffs, minor defects) and a lack of black molding on one side, as well as a slight twist in some parts – all these details are clearly visible in the photos, which are an integral part of the description.
