Octavo, x, [2], 636pp. Red cloth, title printed on spine over blueprint. Stated "First Edition" on copyright page. Solid text block, two checkmarks on contents page, clean text throughout. Bumped corner on front board. In the publisher's first state dust jacket, $15.00 on the front flap, separation of glassine jacket on both front and rear cover, which is typical with this dust jacket. This copy is signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson on a presidential bookplate, affixed to the dedication page.
