As the flap of the dust jacket notes: This book is a chronological narrative of the Chatham Naval Air Station covering its activities both in World War I and in the immediate post-war period. This large hard cover book (8 ¾ x 11 ¼ inches, 190 pages) was published by Lower Cape Publishing dated 2000 and is a First Edition, signed by the Author on the title page. The book is bound in dark blue papered boards with gilt titles on the cover and spine and protected by a high gloss pictorial dust jacket. The book is very well illustrated with vintage black-and-white photographs of the Naval Air Station and its activities. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The dust jacket is still high gloss and with almost no edge wear. The hard covers are clean and bright, and the gilt titles are still handsome. Inside the book is unmarked except for the Author s signature and the pages and photo plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound.
