A charming and romantic keepsake of German silver craftsmanship, this collectible oval locket pendant is forged in solid 835 silver. The hinged front cover is decorated with high-relief sculpted twin ivy or cherry leaves detailed with engraved vein work and delicate milgrain borders, framing an applied ripe cherry branch motif. Claw-set at the base of the stems is a vibrant round cabochon of natural salmon-red coral glowing with deep warm color. Suspended from an elongated tapered bail, the locket opens via a side thumb tab to reveal a dual-compartment interior fitted with retaining rims for sentimental portraits. Both interior rims are clearly stamped with an authentic 835 silver purity hallmark.
