skate - 2026

Skateboard painted on both sides 7 layers of Canadian maple wood premium craftsmanship and the interlocking layers that prevent the wood from warping over time. The painting depicts Medusa, an icon of classical mythology that over the centuries has been depicted by the greatest artists of the past, from sculpture to painting. Starting from Caravaggio's Medusa, I wanted to translate this icon to our times, from the shield to the skateboard depicted in a full contemporary style akin to street art, also due to the use of spray cans. This work encapsulates years of my artistic work, from graffiti art to painting and urban art. An unmissable quality piece! On the board I applied a gloss that seals the entire work under a glassy coating, making it even more resistant and durable.
