SKE - "Duck Hunt Reloaded" - 01/10 Ultra-limited edition, only 10 copies. It only took a few pixels, an unforgettable dog, and a duck appearing at the worst moment to wake up an entire era. Duck Hunt Reloaded returns to this memory of video games to project it into a much harsher, urban, and contemporary universe. At the center, the immediately recognizable duo dialogues with the codes of retrogaming: Level 1, shots counter, score, progress bar, loading screen. Around it, the image shifts into SKE’s language: drips, painting gestures, graphic masses, graffiti, sharp contrasts, and a large pixelated skull set as a warning. The electric blue and yellow pop like a screen that left the console to end up on a wall. SKE does not seek to reproduce a memory. He recharges it. The 8-bit aesthetic meets street art and pop art here, with a composition that plays on the collision between the innocence of the game, nostalgia, and a much more adult visual energy. It is precisely this dissonance that gives the piece its strength: the reference is instantly recognizable, then you discover something else. Duck Hunt Reloaded becomes less a video game image and more a fragment of collective memory transformed into a contemporary work—a piece designed for those who never truly left level 1. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and affordable; they showcase the artworks perfectly. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture that inspires a large portion of his works. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by Opulence Gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes a name for himself in the digital art market, a major trend of these past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture work characterize a now-essential style. SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value. Awarded & Renowned Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is rooted in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront an urban, modern aesthetic akin to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s world and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and to Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside the logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetics of “Hype”: you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textures that evoke the glazed finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This work is ideal to enrich a collection or bring a dynamic touch to your space.
