Slide projector for microscope slides / microphotography...

An Italian-made scientific instrument, produced around the 1970s, in sturdy metal, powered by 220-volt mains, working (the switch does not always turn off the device). Very distinctive housing, adjustable focus lens. I have not found information online either about the manufacturer, which is clearly indicated, or about its exact purpose. Educational or industrial uses? Original power cord. The product won the Gold Mercury in 1973. As far as browsing the web suggests, it is a rare instrument.
