Old Made in France model, produced by Solido from the mid-1960s. This atypical single-seater is one of the most original American competition reproductions in the Solido 100 series. Version shown in a very beautiful red and yellow livery, bearing the original inscriptions: “Mickey Thompson – HARVEY Aluminium Special” Car number 82 The model retains many characteristic details: driver with green helmet, windshield, chromed side exhausts, engine details, wheels and tires as well as the body decorations. Original Solido box ref. 138 present, illustrated specifically “Harvey Indianapolis”. The box shows normal signs related to its age: scuffs, edge wear and deformations/wear at the ends. See carefully the photographs, which are an integral part of the description. The model also shows a few small marks related to its age but presents a very nice overall appearance for a piece of about 60 years. Particularly interesting model for collectors of Solido series 100, old French miniatures, Indianapolis/IndyCar and 1960s racing cars.
