Soyz Bank (1988) - Sonny Liston vs Cassius Clay – World...

THE ARTIST French visual artist, SOYZ BANK develops a universe where technical innovation meets artistic creation. His work rests on an original approach that transforms flat surfaces into true three-dimensional sculptures, giving birth to unique works. His creative process draws inspiration from everyday objects often forgotten or considered ordinary: wine labels, comic book covers, newspapers, banknotes, packaging and many other elements become the raw material of his imagination. Through his exclusive concept « Reality Concept », SOYZ BANK literally makes these supports come off their surface to offer them a new dimension. This artistic signature has allowed him to present his creations to collectors and at exhibitions around the world. His work centers on two major collections. The first highlights the world of luxury and l’art de vivre. It reinterprets iconic symbols such as great wines, champagnes, cigars, banknotes as well as other prestigious icons. The initial creations of this series also included stamps and various everyday objects, reinterpreted in an unprecedented sculptural form. The second collection is devoted to childhood memories. It brings to life characters, comic books, cartoons and universes that marked several generations, giving them a new presence through relief. Each realization combines sculpture and digital printing through a process developed by the artist, making each work a singular creation.
