Polished Amethyst Crystal Freeform with Agate and Quartz – Sculptural Geode Formation A striking polished Amethyst freeform combining naturally crystallized surfaces with smooth sculptural sections, creating a highly decorative specimen with strong visual depth. The piece is dominated by pale lavender to soft violet Amethyst crystals, many of them well developed with clearly defined terminations and reflective faces. Their delicate coloration gives the specimen a luminous appearance, while the denser crystal clusters along the front and sides create a rich three-dimensional texture. Particularly interesting are the lighter quartz-rich areas that form radiating, flower-like structures within the specimen. These zones contrast beautifully with the surrounding Amethyst and add an unusual organic character to the composition. Small warm beige to orange mineralized areas introduce further variation without overwhelming the soft overall palette. Selected outer sections have been carefully polished, revealing translucent quartz and chalcedony structures beneath the surface, while substantial portions of the natural crystal growth have been intentionally preserved. This combination of polished and crystalline areas allows the specimen to be appreciated from multiple angles, with each side presenting a different balance of texture, transparency and colour. The irregular upright silhouette gives the piece a strong sculptural presence, making it suitable both for a mineral collection and as a refined decorative object in a contemporary interior, display cabinet or Wunderkammer. A distinctive Amethyst specimen combining soft lavender crystallization, quartz formations and polished natural surfaces in a highly expressive freeform.
