The object in the image is a vintage radio from the Spirit of St. Louis collection. The brand takes its name from the Ryan NYP airplane 'Spirit of St. Louis' piloted by Charles Lindbergh during the first solo transatlantic flight in 1927. These radios were produced starting in the 1970s and 1980s. Many original models have been converted into modern Bluetooth speakers, while maintaining the vintage design. The radios are often made of wood and metal, with a design that recalls an aviator's briefcase, making them easily portable.
