SPIROU - Journal Collection, No. 94 - Lot 260

SPIROU - Journal Collection, No. 94 A rare vintage collection of *Journal Spirou*, corresponding to issue No. 94, from the golden age of Franquin. The cover, which is particularly decorative, features a composition of portraits and sketches of iconic characters from the world of Spirou, in a graphic style that is highly representative of the magazine’s golden age. This volume belongs to the most sought-after period of the Dupuis hardcover collections from the early 1960s, marked by Franquin’s full artistic maturity and the rise of the Marcinelle School. A very fine example of popular bibliophilia when it completes a continuous series.
