Stabilized Turquoise - Promotes Meditation - 925 Silver...

I am offering at auction a necklace of very large turquoise beads of superior stabilized quality. The entire necklace has been hand-knotted with knots at each stabilized turquoise bead, and the large clasp is 925 silver plated with gold. Turquoise, in the context of Christianity, is mainly associated with celestial symbolism and protective properties. It is attributed a meaning similar to the blue-green color, which is associated with the sky, the Holy Spirit, and divine peace. Additionally, turquoise has been used in religious objects and ornaments, such as crosses and reliquaries, for its supposed healing and protective properties, especially during the Middle Ages. Material: stabilized and striped turquoise of fine sky-blue color with black veining - FIRST QUALITY Bead size: approximately 18–21 mm Necklace length: 44 cm 925 silver clasp with gold plating - marked "925" - large and solid Hand-knotted necklace professionally with a knot at each turquoise bead Quality thread a blend of silk and cotton Gift box and protective pouch Stabilized turquoise is created by adding a resin to the soft turquoise to help enhance the color and increase the stone’s hardness. As turquoise is a highly porous substance, the resin fills the small holes and cracks to form a firm and stabilized turquoise stone. Stabilized turquoise is considered a protective stone against negative energies. It supports balance in communication and expression. It is also associated with the third eye, enhancing meditation and intuition. Its energy is gentle and fresh. The photos are part of the description.
