Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Stand - Bamboo, Rattan - Mid-century Boho-Chic
Vintage Three-Tier Bamboo and Rattan Plant Stand Elegant and sculptural three-tier plant stand, a beautiful example of mid-century Boho-Chic design from the 1960s–1970s. The piece features an organic tripod-shaped structure, handcrafted from natural bamboo canes curved using heat, creating a graceful and highly distinctive silhouette. Its natural materials and flowing lines give it a warm, rustic character while maintaining a light and decorative appearance. The stand incorporates three baskets at different heights, traditionally made using a coiled rattan technique. The tightly wound rattan creates a strong and durable structure while preserving the airy, handcrafted aesthetic characteristic of vintage bamboo and rattan furniture. A particularly charming piece for displaying plants, flowers or decorative objects, it can also be used as an original sculptural accent in a living room, conservatory, entrance hall, terrace or covered outdoor space. The combination of natural bamboo, handwoven rattan and organic geometry makes this plant stand a distinctive example of mid-century natural-fibre craftsmanship and Bohemian interior design. Condition: Good vintage condition, with natural signs of age and use consistent with its period. The bamboo and rattan show variations in colour, small marks and patina that enhance its authentic vintage character. The structure is stable and suitable for decorative use.
