Signed terracotta wall mask – circa 1950 Characteristics * Period: around 1950 * Material: red terracotta (terracotta) * Signature: present on the side, partially illegible * Dimensions: about 33 cm (H) × 14.5 cm (W) × 9 cm (D) * Weight: about 1.2 kg * Condition: very good condition, with tiny signs of use without severity, consistent with the age and the nature of the material Description Charming terracotta wall mask depicting a young woman with curly hair adorned with flowers. Made around 1950, this piece reflects the taste for graceful and sensual forms typical of the Art Deco period. The piece is signed on the side, but the signature is difficult to read. It bears witness to high-quality craftsmanship, inspired by the Goldscheider bust style and the Florentine decorative tradition. This mask belongs to the line of decorative creations from the 1950s. The soft volumes, stylized features, and matte finish make it a wall piece with character, ideal for a modern interior.
