You are bidding on a "spindle swivel stool", piano stool or work stool made of solid oak wood, blackened, with black genuine leather upholstery. The stool is likely from the 1920s — I would not assign the construction to a specific style, probably traditionally built from about 1900 to 1950. I would describe the condition as good, with the vintage look that many people desire, which occurs naturally and cannot be faked. Of course, aged oak wood, about 100 years old, naturally has the appropriate aura. At the upper part of the column there is a fine shrinkage crack (photo), no influence on stability. Fits in both industrial loft style and in living spaces as antique used furniture. The seat height can be adjusted from about 52 - 65 cm. Weight 5 - 6 kg.
