Stool - Steel, Beech - Two vintage school stools

Two highly decorative vintage school stools. These stools are in good condition and date from the 1960s or 1970s. The (identical) stools are 46 cm tall and the seat has a diameter of 30 cm. The weight of one stool is just over 3.5 kg. The stools have steel legs with a seat made of sturdy beech plywood, designed for school furniture, so especially sturdy and durable! The seat clearly bears signs of frequent use by children. These are not only scuff marks. Various scratches, stains, and colors indicate that the stools have been used in many multifunctional ways. The seats are attached to a sturdy steel frame with four pop rivets. Both stools have a bit of play between the seat and the frame, because the rivets have stretched a bit, but the attachment remains solid and 100% stable. Although the lacquer on the legs is still in good condition, there are also signs of use here (see photos). Thanks to the sturdy material, but also the construction and the addition of four steel bars between the legs, these stools are extremely sturdy and stable. A nice touch are the original black plug-in caps under the legs. The stools are therefore in good condition, with logical signs of use from the thousands of children who have sat on them and stood on them. They fit very well in any interior. Very functional and attractively nostalgic furniture! In addition to being seating, these stools are also well suited as a plinth for an artwork or even as a side table (see photos). The stools are carefully packaged and insured for shipment.
