Studio Berànek - Jan Exnar - Sculpture, Gatto Ametista - 19 cm - Glass - 1992

Large and heavy statuette depicting a stylized multicolored cat in hand-blown glass, crafted by the well-known designer Jan Exnar for the Beránek artistic glassworks in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1990s. It is part of the Fauna collection released in 1992. The amethyst and white colors harmonize beautifully and the concentric lines on the back, the color inside the glass is perfect and makes it luminous in any setting; note the substantial weight of the piece. The face has a recessed appearance due to the special hand-blown glass technique, and the white eyes made of glass paste stand out incredibly. Being handmade, it is possible that the posture may appear slightly shifted. Item in perfect condition, still with original packaging. Dimensions: Height 19 cm x 14 x 6.5 cm...
