An imposing and decorative cast-iron sundial, executed in a classic armillary design with rich ornamentation and a warm dark brown finish. The top section consists of a curved support structure with graceful relief details, a central ring with Roman numerals, and a long spear-shaped indicator. The base is also richly fashioned and equipped with cardinal directions, giving the whole a distinctly classic and almost historic appearance. Due to the combination of height, form, and detailing, this is a striking garden object that fits perfectly in a classic garden, formal garden, estate style, terrace, or as a decorative accent at an entrance.
