A rare bibliophilic edition from publishers Dirk Vermeirre and Standaard Boekhandel. Published in 1989 in an edition of 500 copies; this is number 233. Complete with the colophon page signed and numbered by Willy Vandersteen. The complete newspaper version of 240 strips was shortened to 220 strips for the first album-form edition of 1946. Complete with the accompanying extra edition in which the 12 strips were printed that were lost between the publication of the newspaper version and the appearance of the first album. The whole thing is in near-new condition, This description could be very brief.. Front and back covers of both albums are in absolute mint condition! Spines are perfect, only a very small dent at the bottom of the thickest album (photo) In the slim booklet there is one page with a crease, no tear (photo). The book blocks are in new condition Be sure to view the photos!
