Sustainable Platinum Ring With Vintage Diamonds From Our Workshop

The delicate elegance that characterizes so many jewellery designs from the Belle Époque has been lost in many modern pieces of jewellery. We have therefore decided to revive this aesthetic in this ring. Inspired by so-called navette rings from around 1900, this ring from our workshop has an elongated ring face. We have designed it with asymmetrical ornaments reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style of those years in fine openwork. The center of the ring is adorned with a trilogy motif of three diamonds, also borrowed from that era. These three stones symbolize the past, present and future of a couple. The central brilliant cut diamond weighing 0.10 carats focuses on the present. It is flanked by two smaller brilliant cut diamonds, while four further 8/8 cut diamonds at the top and bottom add a subtle sparkle to the curved embellishments. A narrow ring band harmoniously joins the ring face. For reasons of sustainability, we have made this ring from recycled materials. The diamonds are vintage stones that were previously set in pieces of jewellery from the 1960s to 1980s; the platinum was also obtained from older pieces of jewellery. With its white aesthetics and fine details, the ring is in the tradition of the Belle Époque, a time when platinum had just been discovered as a jewellery material and white jewels shone in the electric light of the big cities. Thanks to its flat ring face and high-quality materials, the ring is ideal for everyday wear and is a particularly stylish choice as an engagement ring.
