SWEDEN. Silver Medal of Valor, ND (1632). Gustav II Adolf. NGC AU Details--Reverse Scratch. Hild-114; Delzanno-168b; Bruun-17382. Diameter: 57 mm. Weight: 56 gms. By Hans von der Pütt in Nuremberg. Very rare medal in exquisite condition, especially considering the very high relief on the portrait which displays only the slightest striking softness to the highest points. An old, natural, dusty toning caresses the devices on both sides for enhanced eye-appeal. The mentioned reverse scratch is very subtle and can be seen with a keen eye under the pile of arms.
