Tapering rectangular, formed of mother-of-pearl panels in gold cagework chased with geometric motifs and set on the front panel with a miniature on vellum of Gustave III of Sweden after a portrait by Gustaf Lundberg (1695-1786) and on reverse with initial G both within frame of diamonds, the cover applied with pierced panels reading ' Souvenir' on one side and 'd'amitié' on the other side, lacquered inside in red and with gold-mounted pencil, apparently unmarked Size/Dimensions: 8.5 cm.
