(t) CHINA. 300 Yuan Piefort, 1980. Shenyang Mint. Olympic Series

(t) CHINA. 300 Yuan Piefort, 1980. Shenyang Mint. Olympic Series, Archery. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo. Fr-6; KM-P20. Mintage: 500. A VERY RARE and ceaselessly sought double-thick issue for the Olympic Games held in Moscow. This near-perfect example is tied with a mere five other examples as finest certified by PCGS, and as such would be exceedingly difficult to surpass in quality. Sporting an intense cameo finish and bright canary-yellow surfaces, this is a remarkable offering not to be overlooked. Estimate: $8,000 - $12,000. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA.
