Table ambulante - Wood, Marble - Napoleon III nightstand

apoleone III French Nightstand with Marble Top and Wedgwood Plate Elegant French Napoleone III period nightstand, made in the second half of the 19th century, distinguished by a refined veneered structure with geometric inlays in precious woods. The contoured front hosts two drawers enriched with bronzed fittings and finely chased gilded bronze handles. Particularly decorative is the central medallion applied to the upper drawer, adorned with a Wedgwood-style plate depicting a classically styled female figure in white relief on a green background. The front uprights are embellished with decorative gilded bronze appliqués featuring vegetal motifs, while the lower frieze presents an additional ornamental element in bronze. The shaped top is made of policromic marble in tones of gray, white, and black and is outlined by a refined perforated brass gallery that further enhances its elegance. The tall, slender legs give the piece lightness, in full harmony with the French decorative taste of the Napoleone III period. A piece of great charm and decorative quality, ideal as a nightstand, living room side table, or furnishing complement for classic and elegant environments.
