Table lamp - Ceramic - Martini Shadelamp 60cm

A stunning and unique marriage of European Mid-Century design: an original Italian 'Martini' advertising lamp base from the 1950s/1960s, stylishly paired with a generous, natural lampshade crafted from high-quality Portuguese cork. The impressive bottle-shaped base is made of heavy, robust grès earthenware (ceramic) in a distinctive Brutalist style. The piece is double-sided, featuring the iconic Martini logo in relief on both the front and back. The lower section is decorated with hand-carved geometric meander patterns (Greek key) beneath a beautiful speckled glaze. Fully Restored & Technically Up-to-Date: The lamp has recently undergone a complete technical upgrade, making it fully compliant with modern safety standards and ready for immediate use:Fitted with completely new wiring and a new, sturdy E27 socket (perfectly suited for energy-efficient LED bulbs). Equipped with a built-in ball joint/swivel below the socket, allowing the large lampshade to be adjusted easily to a perfect level. The black power cord exits through a neat recess at the bottom, ensuring the heavy lamp stands perfectly flat and stable.
