Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Table service (8) - Glass
A set of eight Murano glass placemats, made in Venice at the end of the 20th century, in a rich semi-transparent cobalt blue. Each piece features a wide, slightly raised rim and a shallow central cavity; the surface shows fine variations and opacity typical of artistic glass, with light reflecting off the curved profile. The glass has a glossy finish with slight undulations on the edge, reflecting the craftsmanship, while the intense blue hue becomes more pronounced toward the outer edge. On the back, the surface shows a light hammered/irregular texture visible across the entire face and in the center. Size: diameter 32.2 cm.
