Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Themed collection - pencil sharpener - Play-me
Beautiful collection of 14 miniature vintage Play-Me pencil sharpeners, produced in Spain mainly during the 1970s-1980s. Cast metal with a bronze/copper finish, these miniatures reproduce in great detail various old objects and devices: typewriter, National cash register, sewing machine, rotary dial telephone, globe, hurricane lamp, balance scale, iron, cooker, heating appliances, and other antique items. Several pieces bear under their base the marking “PLAYME – MADE IN SPAIN,” visible in the photographs. The 14 pieces are in generally good vintage condition, with natural patina and some signs of age, use and oxidation. These marks are consistent with their age and add to the charm of this collection. Please look closely at the photographs to appreciate the condition and details of each miniature.
