Thomas Johnsons, design after: A pair of George II giltwood console

A pair of George II giltwood console tables in the manner of Thomas Johnson (1714-1778), each with later shaped serpentine moulded marble top above an elaborate pierced c-scroll, accanthus, foliage, fruting and rocaille carved frieze, on a naturalistically carved support in the form of a tree trunk issuing from a rocky base.
