Tissot Couturier Chronograph – Black Dial – Sapphire Crystal – T035617A Tissot Couturier Chronograph, a substantial Swiss-made sports/dress chronograph combining a polished and brushed stainless-steel case with a deep black dial, three contrasting registers and an original Tissot steel bracelet. The black dial features applied silver-tone baton hour markers, luminous hands, three chronograph subdials, a date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock and an integrated tachymeter scale around the outer edge. The concentric finishing of the subdials adds extra depth when viewed under different light. The watch retains its original Tissot stainless-steel bracelet and signed Tissot 1853 butterfly clasp. The caseback identifies the watch as reference T035617A and specifies sapphire crystal and 100-metre water resistance. --- Specifications * Brand: Tissot * Model: Couturier Chronograph * Reference / case reference: T035617A * Period: 2010s * Movement: Swiss quartz chronograph * Case: Stainless steel * Diameter: approximately 43.2 mm excluding crown * Maximum case width: approximately 44.5 mm, as shown in the photographs * Crystal: Sapphire crystal * Dial: Black * Hour markers: Applied silver-tone baton indices * Functions: Hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph * Tachymeter scale * Date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock * Crown: Signed Tissot crown * Bracelet: Original Tissot stainless-steel bracelet * Clasp: Original signed Tissot 1853 butterfly clasp * Water resistance: Originally rated to 100 m / 10 bar, as engraved on the caseback * Swiss Made --- Condition Very good pre-owned condition. The black dial is very well preserved, with clear printing and attractive contrasting chronograph registers. The sapphire crystal presents very well. The stainless-steel case and bezel show normal signs of previous use, including surface scratches and small marks visible under close inspection. These are consistent with normal wear and do not detract significantly from the overall appearance of the watch. The original stainless-steel bracelet and clasp also show light surface wear from use while retaining a very attractive overall appearance. Water resistance has not been recently tested and therefore cannot be guaranteed. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and accurately show the condition of the watch. --- A particularly attractive black-dial version of the Tissot Couturier Chronograph, combining sapphire crystal, a substantial stainless-steel case, original bracelet and classic Swiss chronograph styling. Shipped fully insured, tracked, and signature-required worldwide.
