“Complici gazes” depicts two women united by a tender gesture and an intense exchange of glances. The figures, built through geometric and facet-like shapes, emerge thanks to vivid contrasts of blue, orange, red, and yellow. The long dark hair frames the scene, creating an intimate atmosphere. The painting conveys affection, trust, and a deep, silent complicity. Painting by Cesare Tolomelli: he is an Italian painter born in Bologna and residing in Rimini. From a young age he cultivated a passion for drawing and painting, developing over time a personal research focused on color and form. His most recent production leans toward figurative painting with cubist-inspired sensibilities, dedicated mainly to the female universe. Faces and bodies are reinterpretation through geometric planes, chromatic contrasts, and decisive lines, balancing figurativeness and abstraction. Over the years he has participated in competitions and art exhibitions in Italy. His works are present in private collections in Italy and abroad, confirming international interest in a production able to dialogue with the language of modern and contemporary art, particularly with the experiences of Cubism and expressionist painting revisited in a personal key.
