TRACY CANO GARCÍA - BOSQUE TOCADO A GUITARRA / XL

Unique work Series: GEOMETRY OF SOUND Title: FOREST TOUCHED BY GUITAR / XL Technique: acrylic / canvas Finish with varnish Year: 2026 / October FOREST TOUCHED BY GUITAR approaches the meeting between music and landscape through a composition that combines geometric shapes, color planes, and figurative elements. The figure of a musician playing the guitar is integrated into a fragmented space, built with vertical lines, rectangular surfaces, and curved forms that evoke the structure of a landscape. The tones of greens, grays, ochres, and pinks create contrasts and overlays that articulate a scene situated between the natural, the architectural, and the abstract. The musician introduces a visual rhythm that seems to extend throughout the composition, as if the shapes and colors respond to the guitar notes. References to the forest appear transformed into geometric structures and textures that suggest vegetation, soil, roots, and natural surfaces without depicting them literally. The work thus offers a visual interpretation of music, where the act of playing becomes a principle of space organization and establishes a dialogue between sound, landscape, and geometry. The GEOMETRY OF SOUND series explores the relationship between music, space, and visual composition through musical instruments, landscapes, and scenes reinterpreted through geometric shapes, lines, and planes. The works start from recognizable elements to transform them into compositions where the figurative and the abstract coexist within the same space. Musical instruments act as connecting elements between image and sound, while the surrounding landscapes and scenes acquire a more abstract dimension. The lines, curves, repetitions, and different compositional structures generate a visual rhythm reminiscent of the organization and movement typical of a musical piece. GEOMETRY OF SOUND thus offers a visual interpretation of music, where rhythm, proportion, and balance build spaces that can be at once recognizable and imagined. Each work develops this relationship from a different perspective, establishing a dialogue between sound, figure, landscape, geometry, and abstraction. AUTHENTICITY Each work is hand-signed on the back of the canvas, keeping the painted surface clean and without altering its visual composition.
