The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters by a hollow portion. I consider this piece a vindication of the Self against the perils of existence, but also an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit is characterized as an assembly of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
