Tray - Oak - Art Deco style

Art Deco tray. The shown object is an oak wooden serving tray with an inlaid geometric compass-rose or star pattern (inlay or marquetry) in the center and metal handles on the sides. This type of handcrafted inlaid tray often comes from the 19th or early 20th century (sometimes referred to as sailor's work or antique/vintage intarsia work). This tray is in nice used condition with appropriate signs of age. The tray still has the original protective glass cover with limited matching wear marks that are unfortunately not easy to capture well in the photo. See the photos for a real impression. This lot will be well packaged, shipped with track & trace
