Alle Auktionen / Möbel, Design und Spiegel / Tray - Teak - Danish bowl and tray
For the enthusiast of Scandinavian design: an original, vintage wooden bowl from the well-known quality brand Nissen Denmark. A beautiful example of Mid-Century Modern design with a warm wood grain and a cozy look. Perfect to use as a salad bowl, fruit bowl, or as a stylish decorative piece on the table. On the underside, the bowl is originally marked with the well-known Nissen logo (with the horse) and "Denmark". Condition of the item: The bowl is in nice vintage condition with normal signs of use that suit its age. There is a small, superficial crack in the wood (see photo). This is purely cosmetic; the bowl has been extensively tested and is completely waterproof, so you can continue to use it for salads or fruit without any problem. For sale: a stylish and authentic vintage rectangular tray with a beautiful, warm wood grain (veneer). This tray is a true classic from the 1950s/60s and is in neat, vintage condition. Unique detail: On the underside the original paper certification stamp is still fully intact: "Goedgekeurd – Ned. Ver. van Huisvrouwen" (NVVH). This highly sought-after certification stood in the previous century for top quality, durability, and optimum ease of use in the Dutch household. A fantastic piece of nostalgia for collectors!
