Travel devotional triptych, in dark wood with pierced brass appliqués. It opens to three panels and closes like a book. In the center a small plaque of the Madonna with Child, in a blue mantle and red robe, on a cloud, framed by a radiating halo and a floral brass fretwork. On the arch the intertwined Marian monogram. The side doors have pierced brass panels with crosses and figures, with metal hinges. When closed, it shows the two wooden panels with a brass frieze on the arch and the nailed side edges. On the back a loop for hanging it. A piece for a bedside table or for prayer, the kind carried on travels. Wood with a patina of use, brass not freshly polished, small signs of time visible in the photos, particularly on the cloud. Hinges present, panels openable.
