His works, created in a street art style and inspired by iconic figures such as Blek le Rat and Banksy, are imbued with humor and irony, precious artistic tools in his eyes. Truteau uses these devices to counter the ideas and situations usually accepted. Dare, shake things up, disturb, surprise—no matter what. For Frédéric Truteau, the essential is to provoke a reaction by sharing his own vision of things.
