This evocative character takes us to the heart of a deep nostalgia for the 1980s, an era that movingly reflects a past now distant and irreplaceable, bearing timeless memories. Despite feeling out of sync with this world, he tries, against his will, to blend in, exploring the subtleties to gradually assimilate. About the artist: Frédéric Truteau, self-taught painter, was born in Marseille in 1970; he now lives near Aix-en-Provence. With Frédéric Truteau, humor and irony are precious artistic tools. An artifice to take the counterpoint of ideas and situations commonly accepted. Dare, shake things up, disturb, surprise, no matter what. For Frédéric Truteau, the essential is to provoke a reaction by sharing his own view of things.
