TUDOR. Montre bracelet d'homme Oyster Prince Submariner, 200 m. Réf. 7924, vers 1960. Mouvement automatique, affichage des heures, minutes et secondes. Cadran noir, aiguilles dorées. Boitier en acier inoxydable. Le dos du boitier acier gravé Original Oyster case by Rolex Geneva. Diamètre du boitier : 37 mm ; hauteur : 15 mm. Lunette rayée, traces d'usage. Mouvement à réviser. Bracelet tissu type plongée rapporté. Rebaptisée " Big Crown " par les collectionneurs en référence à sa couronne de remontage de 8 mm, la référence 7924 apparait en 1958. Au premier abord similaire à ses prédécesseurs, elle présente une innovation fondamentale dans la mesure ou son étanchéité est désormais doublée avec une profondeur maximum d'immersion fixe à 200 mètres. Pour atteindre ce nouveau seuil, le boitier Submariner de 37 mm de diamètre a été épaissi et équipé d'une plus grande couronne vissée. Un nouveau verre en plexiglas de type Tropic, plus épais et en forme de dôme, a été installé pour une meilleure résistance à de grandes pressions. Animée par le même Calibre automatique 390 que la référence 7922, cette nouvelle Submariner porte en rappel sur son cadran noir laqué à 6 h la mention " 200 m = 660 ft ".
