Twee Balinese houtsnijwerken - Statue - Indonesia (No reserve price)

Two beautiful hand-carved Balinese modernist wooden sculptures. This specific abstract, elongated style is typical of mid-century woodcarving from Bali, Indonesia. Bali, Indonesia, circa 1970-2000. The figures depict acrobatic or gymnastic poses that flow in curves over a ball or sphere: • Left sculpture: Shows a male figure in a deep forward bend, holding a ball on the ground. Clear Art Deco influences. • Right sculpture: Shows a figure in a backward, swaying pose, balancing a ball in the air with hands and feet. Beautiful set for display on, for example, a sideboard. Dimensions: listed with the photos. Condition: in good condition with minimal signs of wear; see photos. Photos are part of the description. They were taken under artificial light; colors may vary. Atmosphere impressions are shown. They are well packed and shipped by registered mail. Jiljes, where quality and service come first!}
